The Korean tech giant LG has always surprised us with their unique and innovative smartphones. LG is still the only company which includes the removable battery feature in their handsets. Even the current flagship device of the company, the LG G5 comes with a modular design which has been the talk of the town when it was originally released last year. But with all hypes and anticipations, LG G5 failed to live up to the expectations and did not earn much revenue for the Korean company. Instead, another high-end smartphone of the company, the LG V20 did a marvelous business in the smartphone market and has been one of the most selling smartphones of the last year. So now the fans are hankering for the next iteration of this popular smartphone lineup, the LG V30 to release as soon as possible. The V20 was launched in September last year, and if we believe the rumors LG is going to unveil the V30 in the same time span, in September, 2017. So before this much awaited handset make its debut, let’s check out the probable specs and features of the LG V30.
The secondary display, which made the LG V20 and the V10 so much popular, is going to disappear in the coming iteration. Instead, LG is going improve the screen resolution as well as the screen-to-body ratio of the forthcoming handset. According to many trusted sources, the V20 is going to come with the 2K display and an impressive 83% body-to-screen ratio. Although the size of the screen is going remain same, and the V30 is expected to flaunt a 5.7-inch IPS LCD screen.
Processor and Memory
Apple, Samsung and all the major smartphone developing companies are busy in welcoming the new 10nm chipsets in their upcoming flagship devices and LG is not an exception too. According to various reports, the V30 is expected to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. The biggest advantage of this 2.2 GHz octa-core processor is it made by the finfet technology which rapidly increases the performance of the handset as well as improves the battery life.
As per the memories are concerned, the LG V30 will be launched in two variants depending on their RAM and the internal storage. The more expensive variant will offer its users an 8GB RAM and 64 GB of internal space. Whereas, the basic model will come with 6GB RAM and 32 GB of phone memory. Although users of any of the model can improve the phone’s storage capacity up to 256GB using a microSD card.
The camera front will also not experience any major changes, just like the screen size. The same dual-lens camera setup will be again present in the LG V30. Albeit, LG is going to improve the camera quality and the primary lens will sport a 21-megapixel camera and the secondary one will come with an 8MP shooter.
LG V30 Battery
LG is surely going to improve the battery of the forthcoming handset. The V20 is powered by a 3200mAh battery and it will be increased to 4000mAh in the LG V30.
